# Software Developer Job Description ## Job Title: Software Developer ### Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated **Software Developer** to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software applications. The candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for learning new technologies. You will work closely with developers, designers, QA engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions. ### Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications according to business requirements. * Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices. * Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services. * Work with databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize database performance. * Analyze business and technical requirements and convert them into effective software solutions. * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and technical problems. * Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews. * Collaborate with frontend, backend, mobile, QA, UI/UX, and product teams. * Ensure applications are secure, scalable, responsive, and reliable. * Maintain technical documentation, development standards, and project-related documentation. * Participate in deployment, production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities. * Stay updated with emerging technologies, development tools, frameworks, and industry trends. * Continuously improve application performance, code quality, development processes, and user experience. ### Required Skills and Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Strong knowledge of programming concepts, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. * Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as **JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, PHP, Dart, or C#**. * Experience with modern frontend or backend frameworks such as **React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, Express, Spring Boot, or similar technologies**. * Good understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases such as **PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar**. * Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, authorization, and third-party API integration. * Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows. * Understanding of software development life cycle, debugging, testing, and deployment processes. * Good understanding of responsive design, application security, and performance optimization. * Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills. ### Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, microservices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies will be an advantage.
